N-Rages Plugin: Open up your Project64 and go to Options > Configure Controller Plugin. You should use N-Rage's or Jabo's DirectInput as your controller plugin (they come with PJ64 i think) or any other plugin that allows Game Pads. Next you will try it out on your emulator. I'm pretty sure your PS3 came with a cable like that =) You will also need a USB cable that will fit into the PS3 and your comp.
I'm not sure it will work with the Dual Shock 3 because I don't have one so no guarantees.
